Sachin Tendulkar Early life
Born on April 24, 1973 in Rajapur to a Marathi Brahmin
family, Sachin's father Ramesh Tendulkar named him Varun Sachin after his favourite
musician Sachin Dev Burman.
His elder brother Ajit Tendulkar encouraged Sachin to play
cricket. Sachin Tendulkar was married to Anjali Tendulkar in 1995. Tendulkar
has two children, Sara and Arjun.
Tendulkar was educated at Shardashram Vidyamandir. He also stayed in the company of cricket coach Ramchandra Achrekar. Participated in a training program to become a fast bowler but fast bowling coach Dennis Lilly asked him to focus on his batting.
Growing up in a normal family, Sachin studied at Shardashram
University in Mumbai. His brother Ajit Tendulkar saw Tendulkar's interest in
cricket as a child and gave him proper guidance.
Cricket's 'Dronacharya' Ramakant Achrekar gave him a competent education. In the Harris Shield match, Vinod Kambale shared an individual partnership of 324 runs for a record 664 runs and he joined the Mumbai team at the age of 15.
Sachin's coach Ramesh Achrekar had a completely unique way
of training Sachin. He kept a 1 rupee coin under the wicket at the crease. If
Sachin didn't get out, the coin would have been given to him.
